At Any Moment - Brenna Aubrey (Gaming the System #3)

Published Date: October 27, 2014
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Synopsis: It’s Dangerous to Go Alone!

Mia Strong never expected to be deciding the rest of her life at age twenty-two. Is she willing to become a human lab rat? Does she need to write a will? Does she ever want a family--and if so, with whom? She can't dodge the tough questions--not if she plans to live to see twenty-three. With her life hanging in the balance, Mia wants nothing more than to rely on Adam Drake, but he’s hurt her before.

You Must Gather Your Party Before Venturing Forth…

Adam Drake knows that he's made mistakes, but when he discovers what Mia's facing, he realizes how much those mistakes could cost him. Now he has to choose between being the man who can save Mia's life or the man she can love. No matter how much it tears him apart, Adam knows he has to put Mia first...even if it means he's out of the picture entirely.

Will their love survive this epic battle or is it game over?

This novel is the third and final book in Adam and Mia's trilogy, but they will be featured in future Gaming the System novels.

I kind of fell in love with Mia and Adam's relationship. Not because it was your typical virgin girl or your billionaire hottie. But because it was something real. I loved the switching of perspectives and I don't think that I could ever get enough of their story. So needless to say, I was sorry to see them go.

It doesn't mean they won't appear again but rather as minor characters and not the main ones. Although, i wouldn't mind hearing more about other people's perspective and maybe Brenna will come out with Heath and Connor's relationship. I have been wanting to read theirs.

You fell in love with the geekiness that came out with Mia and Adam. How they first met. How they became friends. How they met in person. God, they were such an awkward couple but I just cannot get enough of how cute their relationship is.

This book faces some of the biggest problems in society. Women constantly feel like they have to live up to this perfect image but in reality, the man or woman, whichever way you swing, and it definitely makes us self conscience. I wish that everyone was confident people and didn't care what other people think about them. But wishes are for-- Okay, I had something clever but I can't think of anything right now.

Jordan is a nimrod but he is starting to warm up on me when he starts to become a little nicer to Mia for the sake of Adam. I mean, they are best friends and all.

But truly, the final conclusion to Adam and Mia's story was absolutely thrilling. Time to get more of them. PLEASE AND THANK YOU BRENNA! It makes you want to answer the question. Will their love survive or fail?

I rate this book a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

Blog you later, awesome book nerds.
