Sweet Reckoning - Wendy Higgins (The Sweet Trilogy #3)

Published Date: April 29, 2014
Genre: Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Young Adult/Romance
Synopsis: It’s time.

Evil is running rampant and sweet Anna Whitt is its target. Nobody knows when or how the Dukes will strike, but Anna and her Nephilim allies will do anything necessary to rid the earth of the demons and their oppressive ways.

The stakes are higher than ever, and Anna is determined that the love she feels will be her strength, not a liability. But trying to protect the ones she loves while running for her life and battling demonic forces proves to be perilous—especially as faces are changing and trust is fleeting. When the Duke of Lust sends Anna’s great love, Kaidan Rowe, to work against her, Anna must decide how much she’s prepared to risk.

In the most sensual and fast-paced installment yet, Sweet Reckoning brings all the beloved Neph together one last time to fight for their freedom.

Honestly, one of the saddest thing an author can do to you is complete the series and make all of the characters go away. But this book was a fantastic and bittersweet conclusion to The Sweet trilogy and although I am sad to see Kaidan, Jay, Blake, Kopano all going away, I loved this nonetheless.

This is a must-read book series. I read each of the books within a day and a half. I swooned and cried over the guys within the books especially Kaidon and his British accent and the tragic love stories all mixed in together.

I cannot wait for Sweet Temptation to be released within eight days because it tells all three books within Kaidan's POV and who wouldn't want a beautiful British accent narrating his life? The release date is September 8, 2015.

Their romance is unbeatable and I always, ALWAYS, love a great love story especially as great as Anna and Kaidan. Even Wendy Higgins epilogue made me tear up because of how sweet it turns out to be and ever since Sweet Peril, Kope and Zania were an ultimate power couple.

I rate this book another 5 out of 5 stars and I am not ashamed to say it because this book is one of the ultimate love stories of overcoming challenges since Romeo and Juliet as well as Jennifer L. Armentrout's book. Another reason why I loved this series is because of the whole fact that it wasn't too graphic but it was powerful enough to feel everything.

Also, mentioning Jennifer L. Armentrout, thanks to her publisher and herself for giving us a chance to buy a signed copy of Forever with You on GoodChoice Reading. You can buy it here and remember it is an INTERNATIONAL as well: BUY IT HERE.

I hope to be reviewing The Accident Season - Moira Fowley-Doyle and Secret - Brigid Kemmerer very soon.

Thanks for reading and I'll blog you later, awesome book nerds.
