In a World Just Right - Jen Brooks

I'm here, I'm here, I'm here and I come bearing a review of In a World Just Right by Jen Brooks. Also, happy Independence Day observed and Independence Day itself. I hope you are keeping your pets safe from the firework sounds and yourself as well.

Fantastic novel, first off.

It is revolved around romance and I absolutely loved it especially because it was filled with those 'WTF' moments that have our jaws hanging but mainly because of the romance.

Now since I am writing this blog post with only 5% on my laptop, I will make this quick, I rate this book a solid 5 stars out of 5.

Wow, I use a lot of 5's in that one sentence.

I fell in love with this book because the reality of it is funny considering that people could be going through this but we have no idea because it has never happened to us specifically. I truly do wonder if science can actually prove this not to be fiction but we all know that won't ever happen.

Published Date: April 28, 2015
Genre: Sci-Fi/Fantasy/Romance

Synopsis: Imagination takes on new meaning for a uniquely talented teen in this debut novel that is a breathtaking blend of contemporary, fantasy, and romance.

Sometimes Jonathan Aubrey wishes he could just disappear. And as luck—or fate—would have it, he can. Ever since coming out of a coma as a kid, he has been able to create alternate worlds. Worlds where he is a superhero, or a ladies’ man, or simply a better version of himself. That’s the world he’s been escaping to most since sophomore year, a world where he has everything he doesn’t have in real life: friends, a place of honor on the track team, passing grades, and most importantly, Kylie Simms as his girlfriend.

But when Jonathan confuses his worlds senior year and tries to kiss the real Kylie Simms, everything unravels. The real Kylie actually notices Jonathan … and begins obsessing over him. The fantasy version of Kylie struggles to love Jonathan as she was created to do, and the consequences are disastrous. As his worlds collide, Jonathan must confront the truth of his power and figure out where he actually belongs—before he loses both Kylies forever.

I really do hope people read this book and give it a chance because although it is not a popular book, it could become a best seller and you could be one of the people who read it before everyone else and have bragging rights and say, "Yeah, that's right, I totally read this book before anyone of you guys knew it was cool."

I think that this book was filled with funny, sarcastic, lovable moments. At every page, I was never bored and constantly flipping the pages because I was so intrigued. Jen Brooks has now gone on my favorite authors list. Now on my to-read list is Dream of You - Jennifer L. Armentrout and Neighbors with Benefits - Marissa Clarke. Check out my reviews.

Thanks for reading awesome book nerds.
